SmartSound Homepage Flash Application
This application is no longer viewable online, so here are a few screenshots and mock-ups. Many of the images show work-in-progress versions of the application. The design and graphics were created by
Cameron Smith, and I programmed the application.
Pictured here inside the website homepage, the Flash application is the large rectangular element in the center. Here you can see the New Releases album view. All of the album artwork image paths and sample audio paths are loaded using Flash Remoting with AMFPHP. The text in the upper left ("NEW RELEASES") with the gradient is also dynamic. A custom tooltip ("next disc") can be seen here as well.
An older version of the application, showing the track listing view. All of the track data, icon paths, and sample audio paths are loaded using Flash Remoting with AMFPHP.
This is an interactive demo of one of the features of the Sonicfire software. The sliders can be moved to adjust the volume of each instrument in a multi-track song. The audio track information and paths are loaded using Flash Remoting with AMFPHP.
A view of the dynamic carousel with reflections, and a track listing for the selected album. The carousel would rotate to the selected album when an item in the right menu was clicked, when a carousel item was clicked, when the next or previous buttons were clicked, and when auto-play was on and an album finished playing.
Another (older) view of the New Releases page. The rotated perspective album artwork was accomplished using Papervision3D.
Part of an animation that played when the "SOFTWARE" tab was clicked. After the animation, the interactive "Mood Mapping" demo appeared.

An even older view of the carousel.
